Community gardens are a valuable recreational and educational activity. Please read the rules and regulations and start the process by filling out the form below.
o A site plan – we want to make sure that your garden meets all of the district’s zoning requirements. Please include a site plan that clearly shows the layout of your raised planter beds, water tap locations, accessory structures, fence, trees and roadways.
o Operating standards – Please review the operating standards (include link to community garden local law) and address the required sections to ensure the garden is safe, well-maintained, and equitable for the all of those wishing to use it.
o Building Materials – what will you use to build your raised beds and accessory structures? Provide a list of proposed building materials and/or pictures of the proposed designs.
o Will there be fees? In order to ensure the garden is offering equitable access to all community members the City will be reviewing and approving any proposed schedule of fees.
