The Cohoes Police announced today the arrest of thirty one year old Christopher M. White of Central Terrace in Cohoes. After being arrested by members of the patrol division on an unrelated matter White was interviewed by Detectives regarding a series of thefts from unlocked vehicles that had been reported over the last several weeks. White was charged with the felony of grand larceny in the fourth degree. White has a history of arrests for similar incidents. He was arraigned in Cohoes City Court and remanded to Albany County Jail without bail pending further court proceedings.
The Cohoes Police would like to remind residents to lock their car doors and not to leave anything that can be perceived as valuable in plain sight.
