[ARCHIVED] Cohoes Police Probe Larcenies from Unlocked Vehicles

The Cohoes Police Department has received several reports over the past week regarding larcenies from unlocked vehicles in the hill section of the city (Edward St., Watervliet Ave., etc.)  Cars in the area were reported to be rummaged through and items had been taken such as money, change, wallets and purses. Footage obtained from various surveillance systems in the area show an individual on a bicycle in the early morning hours. 


Police officials are reminding residents to keep your vehicles locked at all times and do not store valuables inside of them. If you have any information please contact the Cohoes Police Department’s Tip Line at 518-233-2161.
