The items to be considered are as follows:

 

1. The approval of the minutes for the September 19, 2022 Traffic Commission meeting.

 

2. The installation of a Residential Handicap Parking sign at 52 Vliet Street (Att. “A”). Requested by Eugene Franco.

 

3. The installation of a Residential Handicap Parking sign at 110 Congress Street (Att. “B”). Requested by Timothy Morgan.

 

4. The installation of a Residential Handicap Parking sign at 125 Ontario on the River Street side (Att. “C”). Requested by Christopher DeRasmo.

 

5. The approval of street closures for the City Sponsored Halloween Parade/Trunk or Treat Event on Remsen Street between Columbia Street and Cayuga Street including cross streets (will work with PD) on October 28, 2022 from 6PM to 9:00PM as well as a request for “No Parking” on Remsen Street from 3:00PM until event is over. Requested by Ed Krejewski.

 

6. The installation of a “Dead End” sign on Maiden Lane (Att. “D”). Requested by Mary Gregory. 

 

7. The installation of “No Parking 7AM to 9AM & 2PM to 4PM School Days” signs on Bevan Street (Att. “E”). Requested by Lieutenant Shanahan. 

 

8. The approval to close Remsen Street from Columbia Street to Cayuga Street (Side streets will remain open) for a Small Business Saturday Event sponsored by the City of Cohoes and the LDC on Saturday, November 26, 2022 from 9:00AM to 5:00PM. Requested by Steve Napier.

 

9. Discussion regarding re-installing “No Parking” signs on Saratoga Street between Main & Mohawk Streets. Requested by Chairman Johnston.
