Regular Business 

a. Consideration of the February 13th, 2023 Meeting Minutes

b. 171 Remsen Street  Applicant and Presenter: Rob Tario. The applicant is seeking approval of their Special Use Permit Application for Smith’s restaurant. The applicant proposes to re-open Smiths Restaurant in the MU-DC Mixed-Use Downtown Core, where establishments with the use of “Bar or Tavern” must be specially permitted. 

c. 125 Main Street Applicant and Presenter: Mohamed Almawhi. The applicant is seeking approval of a Special Use Permit Application. The applicant proposes to open a convenience store in the MFR Multifamily Residential Zoning District, where establishments with the use of “Structure, mixed-use” must be specially permitted. 

d.  9 Laura Drive – Lot A (S.B.L. 10.68-3-9) Applicant and Presenter: Fred Sharifipour. The applicant is seeking approval of their Site Plan Application for a proposed renovation project located on Laura Drive, tax map number 10.68-3-9 in the Mixed-Use 1 Zoning District. The applicant seeks to convert a vacant school building into a 3-unit apartment complex. 

e. 9 Laura Drive – Lot B (S.B.L. 10.68-3-10) Applicant and Presenter: Fred Sharifipour. The applicant is seeking approval of their Site Plan Application for a proposed renovation project located on Laura Drive, tax map number 10.68-3-10 in the Mixed-Use 1 Zoning District. The applicant seeks to convert a vacant school building into a 9-unit apartment complex. 

f. Columbia Street Safe Routes to School Project Public Meeting Presented by Creighton Manning & The Planning Department A public information and feedback session for the upcoming Columbia Street Safe Routes to School Project.

 This meeting will be held on the 2nd floor Common Council Chambers of City Hall, 97 Mohawk Street.
