    Daniel Hytko is the Director of Human Services and Recreation Department. The Department offers recreational and educational events for children and adults throughout the City of Cohoes.

    Lansing Park is the mecca of the City, offering swimming in our Olympic size pool, picnicking and an assortment of physical activities on playing fields that are some of the best around.

    The creation of our New Veteran’s Memorial at West End Park and the refurbishing of the Van Schaick Island Park and Pond gives us the ability to offer quite recreation programming as well.
     
    From Rock the Block to the Car Show, Free Adult Tennis and Golf Clinics to Swimming Lessons, Flag Football, Basketball and Soccer Clinics for children there is always something happening during every season.

    Come join us and have fun with all there is to be offered by the Human Services and Recreation Department.
